About Canada Blueprint

I am a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen who spent months digging through citizenship rules, immigration forms, and family records trying to figure out whether I even qualified.

It turned out I did. But only after cutting through a lot of confusing official language and second-hand assumptions that did not hold up once I looked closely.

Canada Blueprint exists because those same confusing points keep tripping people up. Especially around citizenship by descent, where the rules technically changed but the explanations never really did.

Everything here is based on publicly available information and what I learned going through the process myself. I am not a lawyer or an immigration consultant. This site is informational, not advice.
